'A warrior is more than her armour.'

This was my costume at SFOTR7 this year. I'm planning on applying to get into the Mercs costuming club in the near future, and this is a shot of my armour so far. I made almost everything by hand myself, except for the firearm (resin model of a Beretta M93R Auto 9, made by a friend--actually for a different costume, but was easy to carry around. Earth weapons are not acceptable for the mercs, this one was just a stand-in), the under-most shirt (I can't sew a mandarin collar, so I picked up a cook's uniform and modified it), and the helmet base (helmet was got as a cast from someone on the mercs forums, and I took the kit, cut out all the resin crap that wasn't supposed to be there, assembled, battle-damaged, and painted. The visor is also entirely my work, and entirely interchangeable).

Everything else was hand-made by me. One of my buddies helped with the weathering that's painted on in places--all the physical battle damage is my handiwork.
